Make a donation to our raffles, to be held at the Portsmouth Flatbread Company on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and at the big Kids Rock Show at The Coat of Arms on aturday, 10/31. Goods, crafts, services, gift certificates, pumpkins...we'll take anything you've got! (Though we especially need an enormous stuffed animal - a PHP Flatbread raffle tradition).
What to donate:
Local Artists and Musicians are encouraged to donate samples of their work for the raffles - it's a great way to introduce new people to your work! CDs, small art pieces, gift certificates for massage, reiki, band t-shirts - anything you would love to get from other artists.
We greatly appreciate it when local businesses donate products for the raffles and did you know people love getting gift certificates? It brings new people into your business and helps a great cause!
How to donate:
PHP donations may be dropped off at or sent to The Wire offices at 10 Vaughan Mall, Suite 1 in Portsmouth, before Oct. 27 for the family friendly Flatbreads event or before the 30th for the post Parade big kids rock show at the Coat.
We are happy to come to you! PHP volunteer Kiarna Boyd will magically appear to pick up your donation! Email kiarna@gmail.com to make arrangements.
Keep an eye out for the Halloween PHP Donation jars in downtown Portsmouth!
With great hope, we extend our pumpkin pail, trick or treat style, and request a cash donation. Paypal us at madamesloat@gmail.com!
Donations may also be made the old timey way by check (made out the Portsmouth Halloween Parade) mailed to 10 Vaughan Mall, Suite 1, Portsmouth NH 03801
Dedicated as we are to keeping the Parade itself as free from corporate grease as possible, sponsorship can be a challenge. Though offering sponsors exposure with the marketing of our benefit events, in the Parade proper, like spoiled little brats, we give back exactly nothing.
That said, there are a handful of local organizations that continue to bend over backwards every year to make sure The Parade marches on. Many thanks and a hearty "Huzzah!" to Harbourlight Strategic Marketing and Be Savvy for generously donating thier time, talent and tools to launch our maintain spookyportsmouth.com. To The Wire and the NH Gazettefor all the ink they've given us through the years. We also raise our glass to toast the continuing awesomeness of The Press Room, The Coat of Arms, and Flatbread Company of Portsmouth, without whom our benefit events would pretty much all be out in the street. Huge flashy gratitudes also to Jeremy Heflin Photography for so vibrantly capturing our spirits for so many years. Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

Short on cash, but still want to help? The Parade committee is always hunting for heads to help organize and run the benefit events and to act as Parade Marshals during the big march. It's fun! Step on up!
